Chester Medical has invested over £2 million in a brand new, larger-scale, fully
automated blister packing line.

Following many weeks that included a factory acceptance test, shipment
from Italy, removal of old equipment, offloading, installation, and a series of
qualification trials, the new equipment is now operational at our Bromborough
site.

Our state-of-the-art blister packing line, combined with our five Noack
623 Blister Lines, has allowed us to significantly increase our overall blister
packing capacity, ensuring that we can meet the growing demands of the
pharmaceutical industry.

Chester Medical is proud to retain its Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
certification by the Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency
(MHRA).

GMP is the expected standard that a medicines manufacturer must meet in their
production processes.

For the past 24 years, we have continuously achieved all requirements for GMP
certification.

Some products require leaflets to be considerably larger than average.

This is often due to the need to contain multiple languages, combined patient and prescriber leaflets, or technical drawings and diagrams.

Leaflet tabbing is one of the many leaflet finishing capabilities available at our Deeside site.

It provides the ideal solution to size constraints.

Thanks to its compact fold size, our tabbed leaflet process makes the best use of the available space in a carton.

The label ensures that the leaflet is securely folded, preventing it from springing open.

Following an extensive audit by the British Retail Consortium Global Standard
(BRCGS) for Food Safety, we are proud to have been issued certification first
time.

We are making further changes as part of our commitment to more environmentally friendly processes and procedures that protect the planet.

Chester Medical has committed to reducing at least 21% of Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 2028.

Furthermore, we have implemented an Environmental Management System, and are working with our customers and suppliers to drive this change.

Our facilities are using 100% renewable energy, and our vehicle fleet is either electric or hybrid.

Chester Medical has already received ISO14001 and EcoVadis Bronze certification in recognition of our environmentally conscious practices.

Our Bromborough site recently received an on-site audit from the globally recognised U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
 
The FDA conducts routine inspections of registered food and pharmaceutical organisations around the world.
 
Inspections are a crucial part of the FDA’s safety policy.
 
Following a comprehensive inspection, we are pleased to have passed first time with no action indicated (NAI).
 
NAI means that no objectionable conditions or practices were identified during the inspection.
 
Receiving FDA clearance demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, fully compliant packing solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
 
Our facilities hold multiple accreditations and certifications, including EcoVadis Bronze, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and FSC®.

Our Bromborough site has recently been awarded ISO14001 environmental certification.

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) works with leading businesses to identify practices to reduce their environmental footprint.

By setting out targets and measuring progress on a regular basis, we will accelerate our progress towards Net Zero.

The accreditation follows the award of the EcoVadis Bronze Sustainability Rating.

We are committed to more sustainable products and processes.

We are delighted to announce that on our first application, we have been awarded the Ecovadis Bronze award, recognising our progress towards increasing the sustainability of our products and processes.

Our score places us in the top 50% of all companies assessed.

Ecovadis is only part of our sustainability journey. We have already achieved the ISO14001 environmental accreditation and we have established Carbon reduction Targets across our business.
